Coleman started manufacturing HVAC equipment in 1958 and has expanded its product range to encompass mini-split systems, thermostats, and dehumidifiers, alongside air conditioners, heat pumps, and furnaces.

Presently, Coleman is a member of the Johnson Controls family, which also holds ownership of York and Luxaire. Not only do Coleman and York share highly comparable HVAC product lines, but their products are manufactured in the same Texas-based factory.
